We learn from geography classes that water bodies are marked with blue on the map. But nature likes to mess with us and creates oddities just like Lake Hillier in Western Australia. With its mere 600 meters in length, Lake Hillier is not one that will impress you by its size. Nor will it impress you by its diverse fishes that inhabit it. Lake Hillier delights your eye with its pink colour. Moreover, it lies just next to the Pacific Ocean, thus if you watch it from above, the contrast between the mellow pink of the lake and the blue of the ocean is striking. Why is Lake Hillier Pink? The exact cause of Lake Hillier's distinctive bubblegum or strawberry milkshake color is not known for sure. Most scientists do agree it has probably something to do with the presence of a specific species of microalgae -  Dunaliella Salina . These salt-loving photosynthetic microorganisms generate energy by using other parts of the visible light spectrum except in orange/red frequencie

——— edu passion 2019

Edu Passion is an annual event presented by SMA Negeri 3 Bandung. This event purpose is to introduce some of the university in Java. There were a lot of university booths and we can ask any question to the person in the booth.  This event held on January 24th, that took place in our school.  I'm not taking this event seriously this year, because I plan on focusing for the university things later when I'm on 12th grade. So, I just walking around with my friends and stopped by some interesting stands, like Bandung Institute of Technology, Padjajaran University, and University of Indonesia.  It was interesting, because compared to the Edu Passion last year, this year has more university stands, from the state school until private school.

——— bakti desa

Bakti Desa, or we can call it Bakdes, is an annual event for every 11th grade student in our school. This event is a mandatory event, if we didn't join it, we should join on the next year. Bakti Desa held for 3 days 2 nights. We divide ourself into group, contain 4 person/group. Then, we stay in the villager's house, we also help our foster parents doing their usual job, example gardening, farming, or manage their stall. During bakdes, I live with Aufa, Acha, and Adys. Our foster parents is Mrs. Sri and her husband. Her husband work as a construction labor, with only earning IDR100.000,-/day. While Mrs. Sri didn't have any fixed job, she sometimes help harvesting the yields, or feeding and look after the livestock animals. I want to help educate the children in the village. My foster parents told me that their daughter actually want to continue her study in high school, but unfortunately they didn't have enough money for the education cost. So, she finally married

Hello! My name is Najla Mutiari Zalfa. I was born in Bandung, on 18th April 2002. I currently studying at SMA Negeri 3 Bandung which is located in Belitung street number 8. My hobbies are, reading books, especially fiction and poems books and watching movies and tv shows. I only have one sibling, she's currently in elementary school. My father works in a company while my mother is a housewives. My strengths are I can do anything without preparing it, like when on a speech, I'll just write the main idea of the topic then I will improvise it later. E D U  P A S S I O N  2 0 1 8 Edu Passion is an annual event presented by SMA Negeri 3 Bandung. This event purpose is to introduce some of the university in Java. There were 37 booths and we can ask any question to the person in the booth.  Also, there was a presentation from University of Padjajaran, presented by Mr. Ade Kadarisman, and he gave some information about SBMPTN to the 12-grade students. Even the First Lady of West Java, Mrs. Netty Heryawan, attended this event. And there was some performance by KPA3, MK3, KV3, and Band 3. I even made a vlog with some of my friends at Edu Passion.
